I live there now. Like anywhere else, it has some issues, but they are relatively minor. No kids, so I can't speak to the schools themselves, but my neighbors kids seem ok. Property taxes are a little high for the service level, and the police are very ticket happy. Huge sports program. Lots of traffic around rush hours.

My sister lives up there w/ husband and 3 little kids. High end shopping, man made lakes, houses on golf courses - really nice area in my opinion. Traffic is a bit congested, but other than that, it has a lot to offer. Not too far from Philly either. Not sure about the schools as sister's oldest is 2 1/2, sorry.

Marlton is nice and one of the pricier towns in that immediate area. Also has lots of fantastic shopping.

I grew up down the street in Mt. Laurel. It's a great place for schools, activities etc. Go for it.
