Me and my friends want to take the new jersey transit train to Atlantic City from Cherry Hill. How far of a walk is it to the beach?
The train site says that the train stop is at 1 Atlantic City Expressway. I don't know my way around there so I was just wondering. Thanks.

Yes, you could take New Jersey Transit's Atlantic City Line, however due to construction work, you need to board local bus and transfer at Lindenwold to a No. 554 bus.

It is about a 10 minute walk (less than half mile) to the beach from the train station. If you are taking the bus, they drop you off about 5 minutes. If you need to, you can pay $2 for the Jitney and it will drop you off in front of a casino along the boardwalk.

You could walk it, it's only a few blocks.

You don't have to take the jitney (the little blue buses which are the predominant form of transportation). NJ Transit offers free shuttle buses to train passengers.
