I have always been a short kid, and I can tell you that from personal experience going to Hershey park at age 5 (being 3 feet tall) was a sad time for me. I was a "Hershey Kiss" (they categorize heights in to different chocolates), which meant I couldn't go on a great deal of the rides, and I remember being very sad about that. Now I think that they have "Hershey's Miniatures" which would be what your children would fit in to. I count 22 rides that your children can go on, but I'm not sure if babies can ride them without their parents which could cause some problems. I'd stick with Sesame place.

Sesame Place is more geared towards younger children. Hershey Park has big rides for your teenagers and kiddie rides for your younger children. So I would say Hershey Park.

RE:

Sesame Place or Hershey Park for the kids?

There will be a total of 3, 1 year olds and 2, 4 year olds in the two families going. We have gone to Sesame Place 3 times now and never to Hershey Park. I was wondering if there would be enough for the kids to do or if we should just stick to Sesame Place for a couple more years.

Definitely go to Sesame Place. Hershey park only has a few rides for the kiddies and well S.P., it's all about them.

I'm going to take an answer off the board and say Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster. It is more geared towards kids.

Hersheypark is more designed for older children. Sesame Place is usually a zoo.

well sesame place is probably more age appropriate and pretty much everything there will be fun for your kids. but by now you're probably getting a little sick of it, and so you have to take yourselves into consideration too. rest assured there is plenty to do at hershey park for little kids (even if you just do the little chocolate world thing over and over again for the free candy :-) and it will probably be a little more enjoyable for yourselves as well.

i also recommend dutch wonderland. it's a smaller park, but it's usually less crowded and just as much fun.

I've been to both parks many times. For kids that young, I would stick with Sesame Place. Everything is geared toward very young children there, so they can participate in nearly everything. I think it's a great place for little kids, and my own kids have never been bored with repeat trips there.

There are things for younger kids at Hershey, but it's definitely geared more toward older children and adults. I remember going there once when I was 13, my brother was 9, and my sisters were 6. My brother and I had a blast - my sisters were miserable. They just couldn't do much. However, there is a zoo at Hersheypark, and also a very fun waterpark. So you might be able to find a way to keep the kids happy there.

Some people have mentioned Dutch Wonderland, and it's a pretty good option as well. Just a fun amusement park, with plenty of things for younger kids. It tends to be less crowded, and is a good bit cheaper than either Sesame or Hershey. If I had to pick only one, I don't think it would be Dutch Wonderland. I like all the magic of the other parks, but it is still a good choice.

Hershey has some stuff for little kids, but it's really just a regular amusement park. As you know, at Sesame everything is kid-sized. Those kids are REALLY young. I mean, one-year-olds can't really do anything anyway and four-year-olds may seem old in comparison to the littler ones, but they are still really little and will be REALLY limited in what they can do at Hershey. Stick to Sesame for a while.

Also, don't put a comma between the number of ages. One-year-old and four-year-old are nouns. There is no comma between a number and its noun. However, any number ten and under is supposed to be written out in words.

You should start to go to Hershey park, the kids would probably like to go somewhere new and parents can have fun in it too! It's also a good idea for kids to do something new, they may get bored of Sesame Place. It also has more variety and much bigger I think.
